If not, then may I know if you are using the built-in Movie Maker for Vista? Or are you using the Movie Maker that comes with Windows Essentials? I'm sorry to hear that Movie Maker crashes when trying to publish. I am currently being forced to move my stuff to another pc with a crappy editor or have a friend edit them. I'm hoping for an urgent and speedy fix for this as i am a youtuber who uses this video editing program to edit my vids. I have seen a dozen sites fromģ years ago saying to activate it to make it work but for me its the opposite and without it i am getting no video. I have disabled everything and enabled 1 item each time getting a working publish but no video, but when i enable the avi decompressor it crashes. Currently (at the time of this posting) its 18273 and i am in need of some urgent fix.Īs i said the problem is when i publish ANYTHING that contains a video it crashes. My entire vista OS to fix another issue which was a major problem for me and when it updated to the version. Ive had this happen for months and every windows update i go through does not fix it. My version of Windows Movie Maker is for vista and every time i attempt to publish a video it stops responding and checks for a solution.
Ive been having this issue for months and i have spent too much of a headache trying to fix it and there is no known update to fix it so now im forced to go around to dozens of tech sites asking this.
